This page explains how ParkWaterBinder collects, uses, retains, and protects information from public marketing forms and from operator accounts inside the application.

Scope

ParkWaterBinder is operated as an owner-side water-compliance binder for manufactured-home communities. This policy covers visitors to the public marketing site at parkwaterbinder.com and authenticated users of the application at /app/.

Information we collect

  • Lead form submissions: name, email, organization, state, park name, segment, phone number, and any optional message.
  • Account data: username, email, hashed password, organization affiliation, role, and audit timestamps.
  • Park and binder records: park identity, water system profile, documents you upload, notices, complaints, tasks, and binder exports.
  • Billing identifiers: Stripe customer and subscription IDs and webhook event IDs. We do not store card numbers ourselves.
  • Operational data: server logs containing source IP, user agent, request path, and response status for security and debugging.

Lawful basis and retention

We process lead form submissions on the basis of your inquiry and our legitimate interest in responding to it. We process customer data on the basis of the service contract. We retain marketing-inquiry records until you ask us to remove them or until they are no longer useful for outreach (whichever is sooner). We retain customer records for the life of the account plus the period required by tax and accounting rules, then delete or anonymize them.

Third-party processors

  • Stripe processes all card payments. Card numbers never touch our servers.
  • IONOS SMTP delivers transactional and outreach email from support@parkwaterbinder.com.
  • WeasyPrint renders binder and diligence PDFs server-side from your own data.
  • Bootstrap CDN (jsdelivr.net) serves the public stylesheet and JavaScript bundle for the marketing site.

Cookies

We set two first-party cookies:

  • sessionid — keeps you signed in to the application.
  • csrftoken — protects forms from cross-site request forgery.

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies on this site.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your information by emailing support@parkwaterbinder.com. You may opt out of all outreach emails at any time by visiting our unsubscribe page; we keep the suppression record permanently to honor your request.

Security

Private documents are stored outside the public static root and served only through authenticated, organization-scoped Django views. Backups are encrypted before leaving the server when a recipient key is configured.
